Today we're going to winding up your group blogs. We'll start by talking a little bit about how to promote/market your blogs. Then you can work on finishing them off. Finally, we'll go over how to do a critical evaluation. You'll have to do this as part of your final assessment portfolio, so it might be good to do a bit of practice now, with your group blogs.
OK - I've had a rethink re what we're going to do today. I did say I was going to carry on with the web writing exercises before getting down to production work on your group blogs. But on reflection, I think you have so much to do, we'll delay the web writing til after the group blogs are done. So we'll come back to it after the Easter holidays.
Today, instead, we're going to concentrate on the all the production planning and preparation you need to do for your group blogs. I posted about this last week, but I'll go through what you need to do in class again.
Remember, you need to be in a position to go live on Monday morning. You then need to be posting to your blogs for the whole week. Next Friday, we'll look at how you did, talk through some ideas for marketing your blogs and also do some practice work on evaluations.
